Truth Through Nature
The story behind the serum

The search
Simonne didn't set out to build a skincare brand. She set out to find a product she could actually trust. At 56, with nine-year-old twins, a full life, and five minutes in the morning to herself, she didn't have time for empty promises. She'd already made the shift to clean food and natural household products. Skincare felt like the last frontier, and as she discovered, the most dishonest one.
What she found on the shelves were products that claimed to be natural but weren't. Products that claimed to work didn't. And the ones that did work came with ingredients she wouldn't let near her kitchen, let alone her face. So she went looking properly.
The discovery
She found Paracress, a small South American flowering plant with decades of clinical research behind it. Its active compound, Spilanthol, works by gently relaxing the facial muscle contractions responsible for fine lines and wrinkles. No needles. No neurotoxins. No downtime. Just visibly smoother skin, through a mechanism nature worked out long before the aesthetics industry did.
She partnered with one of South Africa's leading cosmetic laboratories to develop a serum that would harness Paracress at the concentration the science actually supports.
The name
That serum is Parācress™. And in giving the brand its name, the answer was simple: what she'd been searching for all along was truth. And the place she finally found it was nature. Truth Through Nature. Not a skincare line built around a trend. A skincare line built around a standard.
